An apron takes more punishment than almost anything else you'll brand. Heat, steam, oil, flour and a hot wash after every shift, so the decoration has to be chosen with that in mind. We do both embroidery and DTF printing, and we'll be straight with you about which one your design and your setting call for.

Embroidery is the hard wearing option and the natural choice for hospitality. Stitched thread shrugs off repeated hot washes and commercial laundering, and it gives a smart, professional look on bib aprons for front of house, chef whites and cafe staff. Names on the chest alongside a logo are a nice touch and cost very little to add.

DTF printing is the one for full colour artwork, photographic designs and bold graphics, and it's ideal for gift aprons, novelty designs, craft and baking themes and anything where the design is the point rather than the branding. It handles domestic washing well, though for heavy commercial laundry we'd steer you towards embroidery.
